Age Concern Auckland is a charity providing specialised services and support for over 65’s.

Our vital work includes: Social Work Support, Elder Abuse Response Service, a Visiting Service, Health Promotion, Counselling, Total Mobility Assessments and confidential information and advice.

Services are delivered out of three Auckland offices, with support provided in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean and Japanese.

Senior citizens can travel for free on trains, selected bus and ferry services in Auckland, after 9am weekdays and all day weekends and public holidays with an AT HOP card loaded with a SuperGold concession.

The Auckland Libraries service offers a free home delivery service for people who are unable to visit the library due to mobility, access or other special circumstances.

Members are able to choose the books they would like to read and have these delivered or provide a brief on the type of books they enjoy and a librarian will select titles accordingly.

Probus Club in East Auckland. Social club for professional, business and retired or semi retired people. Not a service club, more for fun. Guest speakers, trips etc.

Join our informal “roll-up” on Tuesdays or immerse yourself in the competitive spirit of our formal Triples tournament on Thursdays. Additionally, alternate Saturday afternoons provide more opportunities for enjoyable play.Our prime location, just a 5-minute stroll from Bucklands Beach, allows for a refreshing dip after a spirited game, with a nearby restaurant to cap off your day. Ideal for private family functions, our facility is available for hire, providing all essentials except flat-sole shoes.
