Emergencies can happen at any time—being prepared is one of the best ways to protect yourself and your loved ones. Join Andrew Peteru, Senior Community Planning & Readiness Advisor for the Howick area, for an informative session on how older adults can plan ahead and stay safe during unexpected events.
From natural disasters to power outages, this session will help you feel more confident and equipped to respond if the unexpected happens.
The session will cover:
✔ How to prepare for power outages, storms, and flooding
✔ How to create a simple emergency plan tailored to your needs
✔ Tips for staying informed, connected and supported during an emergency
✔ Building an emergency kit on a budget
