Community Session: Understanding Grief, Loss and Life Changes
Wednesday, 8 July 2026 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am
You’re Invited: Understanding Grief, Loss and Life Changes
Join us for a compassionate and thought-provoking session with grief coach Judi Johnson, exploring the many layers of grief we can experience throughout life.
Grief is not just connected to loss of a loved one. Retirement, health challenges, changing relationships, caring responsibilities, and shifts in future plans can all create feelings of sadness, loneliness, uncertainty or disconnection that are often difficult to explain.
This session offers a gentle and supportive space to better understand the grief, including the emotional impact of caring for a loved one with dementia or terminal illness, and the sense of loss when life no longer looks the way we expected.
What you can expect from this session:
✔ Understanding the different forms of grief and loss we experience through life
✔ Why grief affects us emotionally, mentally and physically
✔ Exploring the loss of future plans, identity and changing relationships
✔ Gentle ways to support yourself through times of change and uncertainty
This session is designed to offer understanding, validation and hope in a warm and non-judgemental environment.
Judi Johnson is a certified grief and life coach (ICF accredited) specialising in supporting people through life’s most challenging transitions. Combining both professional expertise and lived experience, Judi helps individuals navigate loss, rebuild confidence and create meaning and fulfillment.
