Community Session: Understanding Utility Bills

Thursday, 12 March 2026 @ 2:00 pm

Join us at Highland Park Library for an interactive community session delivered in partnership with Utilities Disputes (UDL).

If you have ever looked at your power, gas, or water bill and felt unsure about what it means, this session is for you. Bring along a recent bill (paper or electronic) and learn how to read it in plain language, understand common charges, and explore practical ways to reduce costs.

You will also find out how Utilities Disputes provides a free and independent service to help resolve complaints about electricity, gas, and water providers.

What you can expect from the session:

✔ How to understand your utility bill
✔ Common billing issues and what to check
✔ Practical ways to reduce bill costs
