Monthly Outing: Auckland Domain Wintergardens

You’re invited to explore the Auckland Domain Wintergardens.
Join us for a relaxing day out to the beautiful Auckland Domain Wintergardens.
Step into one of Auckland’s most treasured historic gardens, first opened in 1913 and inspired by the grand English garden designs of the early 1900s. The Wintergardens are home to two stunning Victorian-style glasshouses filled with ever-changing displays of tropical and seasonal plants, including rare and spectacular species from around the world.
As we wander through the gardens, enjoy tropical plants, colourful seasonal flowers, elegant statues, peaceful pools, climbing pergolas, and beautiful New Zealand ferns. There will be plenty of opportunities to take photos and enjoy the surroundings.
After exploring the gardens, we will head to the Winter Garden Café for a light lunch and a chance to relax and socialise before returning home.

Transport: A minibus will depart at 10:00am from HBH, 139 Union Road. If you would like a seat, please register as soon as possible.
