You’re Invited: Supporting Carers – A Session with Carers NZ

We’re honoured to host a special session with Carers NZ, the national not-for-profit organisation supporting over one million whānau carers and supporting organisations across Aotearoa. This is a unique opportunity to hear directly from CEO Laurie Hilsgen, as she shares the important work Carers NZ does to advocate for and empower those who care for loved ones.

Whether you’re currently a family carer, have cared for someone in the past, or simply want to understand the resources available, this session offers practical support, reassurance, and connection.

This session will cover:
✔ Learn who Carers NZ are and how they support carers across the country
✔ Find out how to access help, connect with others, and care for your own wellbeing
✔ Hear helpful tips on balancing your life while caring for someone else
✔ Participate in an open Q&A and group discussion

This supportive, informative session is open to all—especially those who’ve taken on the quiet but essential role of caring for someone else.
