Join us for an informative session with Gaye Stratton, Community Educator from Macular Degeneration New Zealand. Macular degeneration (MD) is the leading cause of blindness in New Zealand, affecting 1 in 7 people over 50—yet many dismiss the early signs as just part of ageing.
What this session will cover:
✔ What is Macular Degeneration and how to recognise symptoms
✔ How to reduce your risk of MD
✔ Learn about the available treatments and proactive steps to protect your vision
✔ A questions and answer session
