Relatively Speaking Session

HBH Senior Living is inviting members of Virtual Village East to their next ‘Relatively Speaking’ session, which will focus on Advanced Care Planning. Cheryl Calvert from Te Whatu Ora will be sharing her expertise on the topic. If you were unable to attend Cheryl’s session last year, or you’re interested in attending again, you are warmly welcome to join. Don’t miss this chance to engage with like-minded individuals and gain valuable insights!
Advanced Care Planning is a process that supports individuals in understanding and sharing their personal values, life goals, and preferences regarding future care. It’s about preparing for the “what ifs” in life, ensuring that healthcare decisions align with personal wishes, should a time come when one is unable to communicate those decisions themselves. It’s particularly relevant in later life and offers a roadmap to navigate complex and emotionally loaded conversations and decisions with clarity and confidence.
